At Ethos Dental Studio, Dr. Mangat’s approach begins with the person, not just the procedure. That means understanding your concerns, discussing your options and considering the relationship between oral health, jaw comfort and your wider well-being.
Dr. Mangat holds dual dental degrees and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Minnesota in 2015. She also serves as a Clinical Instructor at the UBC Faculty of Dentistry and contributes to community care at Elizabeth Fry Health Centre.
Her studio philosophy connects whole-face dentistry with individual attention: consider teeth, gums, bite, jaw comfort and facial concerns together, then discuss a plan informed by your health and priorities. Whether you are returning to dental care or exploring a change, there is room for your questions here.

Operations Manager
Rita keeps the studio running smoothly, from scheduling and staffing to making dental insurance clearer and less stressful for patients. She holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and a Business Degree, with certifications as a Dental Assistant and Orthodontic Assistant. Blending clinical and administrative expertise, she helps patients and the clinical team focus on care. Outside work, she enjoys family time, BC trails and local eateries.
Certified Dental Assistant
Donna is a Certified Dental Assistant with over 18 years of experience. She assists with a wide range of procedures, including surgery and implants, and helps keep the clinic organized day to day. She is known for her strong organizational skills and calm chairside manner. Outside work, she enjoys staying active, travel and time with her pets, Popcorn and Ziggy.
Certified Dental Assistant
Ostap is a Certified Dental Assistant who brings warmth and humour to appointments so visits feel more comfortable. Strong in surgical assisting, he is dedicated to careful care in every procedure. His background spans Ukraine, the Caribbean and Canada. Outside work, he enjoys yoga and a holistic approach to health and wellness.
Front Desk Coordinator
Wazhma welcomes patients, helps make bookings and visits seamless, and is currently pursuing her Certified Dental Assisting diploma. She also supports aesthetic care at Ethos, including microchanneling and skin rejuvenation services. Before coming to Canada, she earned a degree in Dramatic Literature from Kabul University and gained experience in media and humanitarian demining work with DAFA. Outside work, she enjoys exploring Lower Mainland restaurants and cuisines.
Front Desk Coordinator
Shabnam helps with insurance questions, patient follow-up and keeping the day on track. She is also trained in sterilization and chairside assisting, so she can support wherever needed. Outside work, she enjoys cooking, entertaining and creating beautiful food presentations.
