Dr. Ishtpreet Kaur Mangat has completed dual dental degrees, culminating in earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the prestigious University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2015. During her time in the Midwest, Dr. Mangat participated in dental outreach programs, treating patients in rural Minnesota and with vulnerable patients in the downtown core.

Following her passion of working with marginalized individuals, Dr. Mangat proudly works in the Elizabeth Fry Health Centre, as Clinical Instructor for the University of British Columbia, Faculty of Dentistry. Here, she gets to work with vulnerable women and children as part of a whole health team including physicians, nurses, rehab and counselling providers. She also has the privilege to teach UBC dental students who are partaking in dental outreach programs at EFry.

With a special interest in ortho-restorative treatment and surgery, Dr Mangat has since taken hundreds of hours of continuing education to keep abreast of new technologies and techniques to offer her patients.

Dr. Mangat has completed the American Academy of Implant Dentistry MaxiCourse,  an intensive structured dental implant training program of 300 hours of clinical and didactic learning, and is able to provide high level dental surgery and implant treatment.

Dr. Mangat is also a Gold Level Invisalign Provider, focusing on airway management and therapy, as well as corrective movement for long term function and aesthetics.

As a PTIFA certified Botox Provider, she is able to treat cosmetic, as well as therapeutic, cases such as migraines, TMJ pain and other musculoskeletal issues.

With almost a decade of experience in private practice, Dr. Mangat is committed to continuing to provide the latest treatment modalities for all patients who choose to make Ethos their dental home.

Dr. Bev is a compassionate and skilled dentist at Ethos Dental Studio, holding a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of British Columbia. With a diverse background as both an Associate Dentist and a Dental Officer in the Canadian Armed Forces, Dr. Bev offers expertise across preventive, restorative, cosmetic, and surgical procedures for patients of all ages. Her empathetic approach, clear communication, and commitment to patient-centered care ensure that each visit is as comfortable and informative as possible.

In her free time, Dr. Bev finds balance through yoga, hiking, drawing, and spending quality moments with her husband. A valued team player, she is dedicated to advancing oral health and wellness within the community.
