    Understanding your options

    What is Invisalign treatment?

Invisalign uses a series of removable clear aligners to gradually move teeth. At Ethos Dental Studio, treatment begins with an assessment of your teeth, gums and bite to decide whether clear aligners can meet your needs.

    Is it right for you?

Clear aligners may suit a range of crowding, spacing and bite concerns, but not every case. Healthy teeth and gums and consistent aligner wear are important. Some concerns are better managed with other orthodontic treatment or specialist care.

    Your questions, answered

    Your invisalign questions.

Good care starts with a conversation. Here are a few things you might be wondering.

How many hours a day should I wear Invisalign aligners?

Aligners are generally worn for 20–22 hours a day and removed for meals, drinks other than water and oral hygiene. Follow the exact instructions given for your treatment.

    Can adults have Invisalign treatment?

Yes, adults may be suitable candidates. Gum health, tooth condition and bite requirements matter more than age alone. An assessment will help determine your options.

Will I need a retainer afterwards?

Usually, yes. Teeth can move after orthodontic treatment. Your dentist will explain a retainer plan and how to look after your retainers.

What happens before I decide on treatment?

An assessment comes first. We review your health history, discuss the findings and explain suitable options, limitations, alternatives and any referral before you consent.

Will I receive a written estimate, and is coverage guaranteed?

We provide a written estimate after assessment; coverage is not guaranteed. Insurance and CDCP benefits, eligibility and approvals vary, and co-payments or non-covered fees may apply. Confirm your expected patient portion before proceeding.
