Sleep apnea & snoring care in Langley, BC
Dental sleep care considers whether an oral appliance may have a role in medically assessed snoring or obstructive sleep apnea. It is for selected patients following appropriate medical evaluation, not a substitute for diagnosis. At Ethos Dental Studio in Walnut Grove, Langley, we discuss dental suitability and coordination with your physician.
A dental conversation that belongs within your wider health care.

Understanding your options
Your care, considered.
Snoring, witnessed pauses in breathing and daytime sleepiness warrant medical assessment. Your physician or sleep specialist establishes diagnosis and treatment recommendations. Dental health, jaw comfort and the proposed device affect suitability for an appliance.

Your sleep apnea & snoring questions.
Good care starts with a conversation. Here are a few things you might be wondering.
Can a dentist diagnose sleep apnea from snoring alone?
No. Snoring alone does not establish a diagnosis. Medical evaluation and appropriate sleep testing may be needed.
Can I stop using CPAP if I get an oral appliance?
Do not stop prescribed therapy without your medical clinician’s advice. An appliance is suitable only for selected patients, with follow-up to assess effectiveness.
How do I find out if sleep apnea & snoring is right for me?
Start with an assessment. We review your concerns and health history, explain the findings and discuss suitable options or referral before recommending treatment.
What will treatment cost, and will insurance or CDCP cover it?
Fees and coverage depend on your assessed needs and benefits. We provide a written estimate after assessment; your insurer or CDCP determines coverage, and a patient balance may remain.
